The silver stainless steel bracelet band features links that mix brushed and polished finishes, and it's joined by a push-button folding safety clasp. This is my third purchase of Citizen Eco-drive. One is for my Dad, 2nd is for my husband and this is for me. My husband loves the material and it's very comfortable to wear. My dad likes the design of his watch. This watch looks great on my wrist and very nice design. No need for battery, glow in the dark, with date, waterproof and easy to read. I just need to adjust the band bcoz my wrist is small. I am just wishing it will last very very long just like my old watch. I will wear this everyday..at work, camping, hiking, swimming, etc.

Such a pretty watch, lovely easy to read face, nice weight, attractive band (easily fitted by my jeweler by removing 4 links) comfortable to wear, and a very reasonable price for such a nice watch -- the picture posted online doesn't begin to do it justice.

I bought this watch back in 2008 when I began nursing school. My dresser drawer has at least 3 watches in it that I loved but never seemed to find the time to replace the dead battery. After having this watch for 2 years, I am completely sold on eco drive. This watch has held up beautifully to daily wear and tear and frequent hand-washing. The clasp is still nice and tight after 2 years. I still get compliments on it all the time, it is a classically styled sleek looking watch. The Roman numerals on the face give it a little something extra and the glow in the dark hands are an added bonus when in a dimly lit patient's room. I cannot recommend this watch highly enough- I'm wearing it right now as I type this review. Some reviewers have mentioned that the face is small, but perhaps they have larger wrists than myself as the face size is perfect. Its big enough to read easily but small and low profile enough that it doesn't get caught on clothing as I move around. I did have to take it in to have a few of the links removed, but since then it has fit perfectly.

Everything about this transaction was perfect, just as if I bought this in a retail jewelry store...without the high prices! I love this watch...no more buying batteries and destroying my watch backs/cases trying to save money replacing my own batteries!!! I will never buy a cheap, battery operated watch again...only solar or kinetic watches for me now! And the low price I paid, saving about $75 from retail, was about the same as some of the trendy fashion watches that do require batteries. My next Citizen watch will be from Amazon too!!

I received a $100 Amazon gift card and decided to look for a new watch. I narrowed it down to about 20 watches and then by a process of elimination chose this one...and it is perfect! It is not too big not too small, I have a reasonably thin wrist and had five links removed. The watch has a quality in its appearance and like most reviewers have mentioned, it can be worn as dressy or casual. A real big plus is that I will never have to change a battery, it's not only the expense that is saved but also the inconvenience of battery replacement is avoided. I would highly recommend this watch...I love it!
